Cecilia Aragon discusses overcoming her fear of flying, even afraid to board an airplane, to become a top airshow performer. Cecilia will reveal how she balances a flying career with being a computer consultant and mom.

Exciting in-cockpit footage of a San Francisco airshow will be featured and there will be time for questions and answers.

COST: A donation is suggested. Donations of $10 or more receive free admission to the museum. The museum is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c) (3) organization. Contributions may be tax deductible.

DETAILS: Medalist at the 1993 U.S. National Championships, 1994 World Aerobatic Championships, and California State Aerobatic Champion. A professional airshow pilot since 1990 with over 5,000 accident-free hours logged. Performs in air shows and competitions all over the U.S. and Europe.

Sponsored by the Western Aerospace Museum as part of its monthly Aviation Speakers Series, the program series provides community members the opportunity to explore many facets of flight. Designed for the uninitiated as well as the aviation enthusiast, each presentation focuses on local contributions to aviation–history, achievement, careers, and technology.
