When: June 26th -Time: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm – Please join us for a day of fun, food and airplanes.
Schedule of Events:
- The Pancake breakfast runs from 8:00 to 10:00.
- Hotdog’s and hamburgers for lunch will be available from 11:00 to 1:30.
- Model airplane air show from noon until 12:45.
- We’ll have local talent performing on stage, free EAA airplane rides for children aged 8 to 17. Demo rides will be provided for adults for a fee by RHV flight operators.
- EAA Chapter 62 will be there to build wing ribs with the kids

The threat to the future of seaplanes on Lake Tahoe is not fully gone yet. The TRPA Board meeting on June 23 will be the determining vote on the issue. Following that vote, assuming we prevail, we will, through the SPA Water Flying Directory, publicize the existing limitations as they apply to all boats (no wake zones, no more than 5 mph in Emerald Bay, no power boats in marked swimming zones) and encouraged continued best practices for both noise and invasive species threats to Lake Tahoe.
