The Riverside County Board of Supervisors will consider supporting a proposal to designate Thermal’s Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport a
foreign trade zone. The supervisors will discuss the proposal at today’s meeting at the request of Supervisor John Benoit, according to county officials.
If the supervisors approve the proposal, the county Economic Development Agency will file an application with the United States Department of
Commerce. Supervisors will meet at 9 a.m. at 4080 Lemon St., Riverside.
