Sacramento’s Executive Airport is showing signs of economic recovery. General aviation flights are reported up nearly 20% for this fiscal year. A new 15,000 square foot hangar has opened by Executive Autopilots, an avionics firm that repairs and installs autopilots, custom instrument panels and other avionics equipment.
Aircraft operations at Sacramento International Airport have also increased but at Mather Airport there was a slight decrease in air cargo operations for the fiscal year ending in July.
