The following is a description of an incident that occurred today at the St. Louis Downtown Airport, a large GA facility. We are sharing this story with you as there are indications that it might be repeated throughout the country. We would like to thank Bob McDaniel, the Director at the St. Louis Downtown Airport, for sharing the details of the incident outlined below.

Two resolutions were introduced in the California legislature last week. SJR 34 and HR 57 would both urge the FAA to quickly approve the proposed Lemoore MOA. If you are not familiar with the MOA Proposal, it would basically create an MOA from 5,000 to 35,000 feet over much of the central valley.

Riverside, Calif., airport’s new director lands $1.6 million FAA grant

After only a month on the job as Riverside Municipal Airport Director, Mark Kranenburg secured a $1.6 million grant from the Federal Aviation Administration.
