Members of the International Union on Operating Engineers (IUOE), Local 39, Classified Unit initiated a strike against the City of Lincoln at 6 am this morning, September 14. For the aviation community, this action sidelined the two city employees that operate the Lincoln Regional Airport’s full-service fueling trucks.
All self-serve facilities remain available including the self-serve fuel pumps (both 100LL and Jet A), and the pilot and passenger lounges.
