When: Saturday, April 28th 2012 Why? Founded on the belief that recreation, fun, challenge and access to the outdoors are an essential part of a healthy and fulfilling life, Shared Adventures is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people living with disabilities.
This year’s Day in the Sky will be held on April 28th at the Watsonville Airport!
Festival: 9:00 – 4:00
Lunch: 11:30 to 2:00 for a $3 donation.
The Day in the Sky is a FREE Accessibility Expo featuring nonprofit groups, educational interactive displays, and vendors of assistive technologies STEMA (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Aviation). The festival also includes a static plane display, on the ground air school, music provided by a local DJ, face painters, Snoopy, accessible sports equipment demos,
and visits with live animals.
Unfortunately, we were not able to fly this year. We hope to offer flights again in the future.
