Bird Strike Information – Stockton Pilots Concerned with Land Fill Expansion
Airport Supporters – Please take a few minutes and watch the CBS report featuring Captain Chesley Sullenberger providing commentary as an expert regarding the increase in aircraft bird strikes. We all know by now he was the pilot of U.S. Airways Flight #1549 (Miracle On The Hudson), with his First Officer Jeffrey Skiles, when they struck a flock of birds then landing the disabled aircraft in the Hudson River.
