We strongly suggest that you get the word out to insure no one donates to this Eco-Zealot organization looking for a means to fund itself regardless of the cost to aviation in California.

Illustrious aviation legacy continues – The Santa Maria Public Airport continues the legacy of the city’s illustrious aviation history. Occupying 2,600 acres at the city’s southwest corner, the airport — also known as Capt. G. Allan Hancock Field — lies west of Highway 135 between Betteravia and Foster roads. The terminal, with its unique undulating roof line, is reached via Skyway Drive.

A coalition of small business fixed-based operators (FBOs) and fuel distributors who sell leaded aviation gasoline (avgas) in California have sued the Center for Environmental Health (CEH) and the Attorney General of the State of California in response to a notice of an intended lawsuit against coalition members for supplying and using leaded aviation gasoline, allegedly in violation of the California Safe Drinking Water & Toxic Enforcement Act (Prop 65).

Sacramento County supervisors deny Galt airport expansion
The operator of a small, private airport north of Galt lost his chance to expand his operation on Tuesday.

After a marathon public hearing where an estimated 30 people spoke from the podium, four of the five members of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors agreed that a public airport isn’t compatible with migratory birds and their habitat.
