A Chapter of California Pilots Association Lampson Field gets $150,000 for sewage improvements. On February 18th, the Lake County Airman’s Association (LCAA) chapter of the California Pilots Association successfully made the case to the Lake County Board of Supervisors to approve the engineering studies required to upgrade the aging water and sewer systems at Lampson Field.

A Chapter of California Pilots Association PO Box 1440 San Martin, CA 95046 Aviation Scholarships The South County Airport Pilot’s Association (SCAPA), a non-profit organization, has funded two aviation scholarships. These scholarships will be awarded annually to promising young men or women who have a serious interest in aviation-related careers. The first two were awarded in 2002.

Dear Friends and Pilots,
Most of you have by now heard that today’s CC Times had a story concerning the leases at the East Ramp Hangars. Ken Cole and I were able to attend the County Board of Supervisors meeting yesterday and speak publically about the County mismanagement of the airport, loss of hangar revenue, the bad faith in negotiating a new lease with hangar tenants, and “oh by the way”, we do not want the airport closed. An airport that generates over 43 million dollars per year to the county. Now it’s on the record, and they have to deal with it. Lets not make it easy.
