All of us in EAA Chapter 1337, Tuolumne County Aeronautical Association (TCAA) and Tuolumne County Airports, invite you to attend the 37th Annual Columbia Airport, Father?s Day Weekend Fly-In 14 & 15 June 2003. Come help us celebrate the Centennial of Flight (1903 – 2003). A Temporary Tower Frequency will be in effect on Saturday AM, (please check Notam for times) Tower 126.4 and Ground 121.05. Runway 17/35 will close from 12:00 to 3:00 pm for Saturday?s events. Grass Runway 29/11 will close on Thursday June 12th through Monday June 16 for aircraft parking. Friday arrivals will be greeted with an early bird, fly-in hosted, ?burger burn? beginning at 6 pm at the Air Yosemite Hangar. Attitude readjustment will be available. Saturday, June 14 will begin with breakfast served by TCAA at 7:00 am in the clubhouse on the field, followed by a full day of fly-bys, contests, and flight demos. Food and drink will be available all day. Saturday?s activities will be followed by dinner, hanger flying, music, and dancing at the TCAA clubhouse on the field. Sunday, June 15 will begin with breakfast served by TCAA at 7:00 am in the clubhouse. The Flour Bombing and Spot Landing Contest starts at 10:00 am, please sign up by 9:00 am. Food and other Vendors will be open until 3:00 pm. For you heartier souls, limited space is available under the stars for tents at the airport campground. Showers are available. Several motels are available within a short distance of the airport. Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau @ (800) 446-1333 www.thegreatunfenced.com can be of great assistance. Car rental is available.
