Palo Alto City Council to consider Wiedeman Report on the Airport, Monday, December 6 at it’s public meeting, starting at 7:00 PM. The item is actually a report from the Finance Committee which met last month. The agenda can be found on their web site. Note that there are 21 items ahead of the report. However, these are all items on the consent calendar and the are accepted with one motion without discussion. This usually happens pretty quickly. Council members may request an item be removed from the calendar for discussion, but this usually doesn’t take too long.
Members of the airport community are encouraged to attend. The report from the finance committee is actually positive and it would appear that things are moving forward, but it helps to have a group that shows an interest. Your presence gives support to the committee and the council which can be very helpful to the process.
