Fly California Passport Program

The Fly California Passport Program celebrates the fun, freedom, and adventure of exploring all 239 public airports across our state. Launched in September 2025, the program is currently in its grassroots phase, growing with the support of pilots, airports, and aviation advocates who share a passion for strengthening general aviation in California.

Created by the community and for the community, the Fly California Passport Program is designed to support public airports, uplift local businesses, and promote educational opportunities within the aviation ecosystem. Our mission is to inspire pilots to fly for more than just the classic “$150 hamburger” by offering meaningful, memorable destinations and encouraging increased activity at public airports statewide.

Together, we’re building a program that enhances aviation access, drives economic benefit, and helps ensure that California’s public airports remain vibrant, open, and welcoming for generations to come.
