Wings Over Marin Looking for Volunteers

gnoss field cmmunity assocGreetings to All Nor-Cal Airports:

Our Wings Over Marin 2013 event, on Saturday September 21 from 10 am to 4 pm, is shaping up nicely. PLEASE DISTRIBUTE THIS TO ALL YOUR MEMBERS. (See item 3 below).

You can see details about our event at http://www.gnossfield.org/events/wom/ Note: we are going to have a great day with Astronaut Yvonne Cagle as our main speaker, but also 4 fly-by segments, static display, food, expo area, SCHOLARSHIPS for two kids, and a youth focused seminar on careers in aviation. This year’s theme is “Women in Aviation” so our speakers and seminar participants are women astronauts, pilots, ATC, Air Transport, and administrators.

And as you can imagine, it won’t be a success without VOLUNTEERS. I’ve attached a preliminary info sheet for folks who may be interested in volunteering. So we’d love volunteers from Petaluma, Shellville, Napa, Santa Rosa, Concord, etc. I need about 60 more volunteers to deal with traffic and other tasks. Right now I just need their name, email, and phone contact and then we’ll be in touch as we move forward. They get in free, work half day, and have the other half day to enjoy the show.

I appreciate you distributing this email and attachment to your membership. Visit our website!! Note that you can get ticket’s on-line starting tomorrow. Go to the event detail section on the web site and click on the “Click to buy tickets” link.

Thanks for your help,
